Why Do Holidays And Vacations Feel So Short?
That’s because they ARE SHORT. Most of our holidays last no longer than 2 weeks, with the rest of the time being spent at work or going to school.
Is that how we should really be living? I’m sure most of you would say no, but that’s the reality of the situation. The typical workdays span Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays off. Lots of people think this isn’t enough time for themselves, and I’m inclined to agree!
This is why it is SO important to choose a career you enjoy. Most people spend around 50 years of their lives working, so you better find something fun!
This is also an issue society will continue to face in the future. At what point would we achieve the perfect work-life balance? Many people do not seem to believe we’re there yet, so when will it happen?
You must take initiative yourself if you wish to escape a boring and uneventful life. That involves taking risk. If you want to start a business, DO IT. If you want to start a Youtube channel, DO IT. If you want to do anything, START NOW. Nothing will happen if you’re just imagining the possibilities, you have to make them reality. That is the only way to bring true happiness to your life. Find ways to escape your 9–5 job. Act on your ideas.
Create your own holidays so that they can last as long as you want.
